PHOENIX, ARIZONA (March 18, 2015) A little rain delayed the start of the game but did not delay the No. 7 ranked Arizona State University Sun Devils from scoring early in their 4-3 win over the New Mexico Lobos on Wednesday, March 18, at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.

The Sun Devils scored early in the bottom of the first inning, then twice in the second inning to hold a lead until the seventh inning. In the seventh, the Lobos pulled together a two run performance to tie the game.

ASU's Colby Woodmansee scores go-ahead run in the 8th.
In the eighth inning, the Sun Devils' Colby Woodmansee scores from second base on a line drive shot to center field from Joey Bielek for the final run of the game.

The winning pitcher was Darin Gillies and Ryan Burr was credited with the save.

The #7 Sun Devils are traveling to #15 Oregon for a three game series beginning March 20, 21, and 22. After the three game road trip, they will return to host the Stanford Cardinal for a three game series on March 27,28 at 6:30p.m., and Sunday, March 29 at 12:30p.m. at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.
