ASU's pitching staff has 58 Strike outs in 6 games
PHOENIX, ARIZONA (February 21) The Arizona State University Sun Devils tie up the three game series 1-1 by defeating No. 1 ranked Texas Christian University Horned Frogs by a score 7-6 at Phoenix Municipal Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, February 21, 2015.

The Sun Devils pitching staff has a total of 58 strike outs in only six games.

When asked about the pitching staff’s success, winning pitcher Ryan Kellogg (Whitby, Ontario, Canada) commented “The more times you don’t’ have a guy put the ball in play, the less chances they have to score and get on base. If we keep racking up strike outs, that’s great, but we trust our defense. They always do a great job. Either way, I think we’ll be alright whether we rack up strike outs or pitch to contact.”
